Bend roll type
The bend roll type is a mold for bending pipes, where the pipe bends as the bend roll mold is rotated.
There are several types of bend roll molds depending on the size of the pipe bender body and the bend radius of the pipe.
Model types include roll-tip type, horseshoe type, and flange type.
There are many sizes of bend molds. Additionally, depending on bending specifications, molds have groove shapes such as circular, elliptical, or other groove configurations.
For installation, align with the key and in-groove of the bend roll mounting base, then firmly secure with a center bolt or anti-rotation bolt.

Clamp die
Clamp die
A clamp die is a mold that fixes the pipe to the bend roll mold during bending. It is used as a set with the bend roll mold.
The clamp die’s clamp dimensions must be sufficient to prevent slipping.
If sufficient dimensions cannot be achieved, anti-slip treatment is applied.
The clamp die is positioned via a through-groove in the mounting holder and secured firmly with bolts.

A pressure die is a mold that suppresses the reaction force of the pipe during bending.
Types of pressure dies include fixed type, sliding type, and roll type.
The pressure die is fixed to a set plate and mounted to the pipe bender body using a hanger and bolts.
Mandrel
Mandrel
A “mandrel” (shingane) is a mold used to prevent inner wrinkles and improve roundness when a pipe is bent.
Mandrel is another term for the mandrel.
Mandrels come in bullet type, semi-bullet type, and free type. The mandrel shape is selected based on pipe size, wall thickness, and bend radius.

Wiper die
A wiper die is used as a wrinkle removal device.
Issues such as scratching that can occur when using a wiper can be resolved by selecting appropriate material.
To install the wiper, insert it between the pipe and bend roll along the groove, position it, then secure with bolts.
Chuck
Chuck
A chuck is a mold that clamps the end portion of the pipe to be bent and is used to feed the pipe from one bend point to the next.
The chuck is attached by inserting the chuck jaws into the lever portion at the front of the pipe bender’s feeding device.
